About JPCC

Built for golf clubs that want clearer commercial decisions.

JPCC was founded by JP Mooney to help clubs improve the commercial moments that are often missed between enquiry, follow-up, decision and return visit. The work combines lived golf club understanding with practical commercial process — without turning the club into a corporate machine.

Why JPCC exists

Most clubs don't have a demand problem.

A golfer enquires about membership, receives one reply, and then joins the club down the road. A visitor plays once and never hears from the club again. A society organiser receives information, but not a proposal that helps them decide. A local business would sponsor a hole — but nobody owns the conversation.

None of these are dramatic failures. They are ordinary weeks at well-run clubs, repeated every month. The demand already exists; what's usually missing is the follow-up, ownership and structure to convert it. JPCC exists to fix that — and to leave the club with systems its own team runs.

The founder

JP Mooney

JP played golf to professional level, reaching +6 and competing in South Africa, Europe and the United States. Touring meant experiencing clubs of every kind — including well-resourced venues with poor enquiry handling, and modest clubs that won loyalty simply because every interaction was looked after.

Before and after his playing career, JP worked in aviation, qualifying as an Air Traffic Controller — a discipline where every action has an owner and nothing is left to memory. He now leads sales and marketing for a multi-million-pound technical business, working daily with enquiry handling, proposals, CRM and pipeline conversion.

JPCC applies that combination to golf clubs: an insider's understanding of what members and visitors value, and a working practitioner's knowledge of how enquiries become income.

How JPCC works with clubs

What guides the work

The member experience comes first

Commercial improvement should never make a club feel like a call centre. Better follow-up and clearer offers protect the club's character — they don't erode it.

Evidence before recommendations

Every engagement starts by establishing what actually happens to enquiries, visitors and sponsor conversations. Findings are shown, not asserted.

Fixed scope, honest limits

Each service states what it includes, what it does not, and what it costs. If a smaller engagement is the right answer, that is what gets recommended.

AI supports the process

AI is not the strategy. Better commercial process is the strategy. Where AI helps, it drafts — people check, approve and send.

What happens next?

From first message to clear decision — without pressure.

1

Choose a starting point

If you know where the issue is, choose the most relevant service. If you are unsure, start with a Revenue Leak Review or a short discovery conversation.

2

Discovery conversation

A relaxed 20–30 minute conversation to understand the club, the current challenge and whether JPCC is the right fit.

3

Fixed-scope proposal

You receive a clear scope, timeline and investment before any work begins.

4

Delivery and next steps

JPCC completes the agreed work and recommends the next logical step only if it is genuinely appropriate.

No hard sell. No vague consultancy retainer. No pressure to buy every service. The aim is to identify the right starting point for your club.
